NOVA team at Cityscape Global | EXPO 2020 Dubai

november 12, 2021

The NOVA team at Expo 2020 Dubai had an intense and productive week - we attended a number of relevant events where we presented the capabilities of NOVA Realty digital platform to government and business representatives, as well as discussed the perspectives of the real estate market development, its digitalization and the introduction of common international standards.

During Cities of the future: design, construction and sustainable development, CIO NOVA Nikita Bessonov met official representatives of the Bulgarian Pavilion: Ivan Zhelyazkov (Deputy Chairman of the Bulgarian-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry) and Dimitar Dimitrov (Head of Trade Economic Section in Consulate General of the Republic of Bulgaria; Director of the Bulgarian Pavilion at EXPO 2020). During the communication the Bulgarian delegation at EXPO 2020 showed interest in digital platform NOVA Realty and agreed on further cooperation on government level.

At EXPO Colombia's foreign direct investment agency Procolombia organized a Business Matchmaking Forum, which was chaired by Juliana Villegas Restrepo, Vice President of Exports, to whom BDO NOVA Viktor Polovyan made a presentation of the NOVA Realty platform. Within the framework of the meeting the participants came to the conclusion that investment in development projects is one of the state priorities and requires an additional set of services and applications for real estate market players and its transition to the digital era.

Also, the NOVA team participated in Cityscape Global, one of the main real estate exhibitions in Dubai, where we met with Dr. Mahmoud Al Burai, head of RERA (Dubai Real Estate Regulatory Agency) which is a part of the Dubai Land Department. The subject of our conversation was innovations in Dubai real estate. This area is personally overseen by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council. One of the latest solutions introduced in the emirate's market is RE-TECH, a real-time updated real estate database. We at NOVA are happy to see that Dubai is developing a digital infrastructure. This is a positive example for other countries and a step forward for creating an international digital space.

Cityscape Global at EXPO 2020 had a series of meetings with Bahrain's Real Estate Regulatory Authority government delegation. Saud Alkhayyat, Director of Digital Development at the Bahrain Department of Real Estate, demonstrated the latest development in the digitalization of the market - Real Estate Databank. The Kingdom of Bahrain is also developing a digital twin of the entire state. We are very happy to have like-minded people and their introduction of such technologies in the Kingdom's real estate market.
We presented to the delegation the capabilities of our platform NOVA Realty - and received an approval. We also agreed to hold a presentation of NOVA Realty platform for the extended delegation of the Kingdom, with the involvement of RERA IT specialists.

Summing up the results of the second week of our participation at the EXPO, we can point out that there was a number of constructive meetings with government and business representatives from different countries, during which they expressed interest in further cooperation and noted the practical usefulness of the NOVA Realty platform in their own activities, as well as the obvious prospects in the development of a unified digital platform for the international real estate market.

See you again at the EXPO!
