The new year of 2022 has begun and we continued to develop our project. Despite the increase in COVID-19 cases in January, and the introduction of additional regional restrictions, we have returned to the active dialogue about our digital platform NOVA Realty with our partners and future users.
The main event of January was the visit of our company representatives under the invitation of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion to the Sultanate of Oman where in the capital city Muscat we presented our platform to representatives of interested ministries.
The Sultanate of Oman has political stability, a favorable geographical location, a wealth of natural resources, a variety of landscapes and beautiful scenery, making Oman an excellent choice for business, tourism and one of the best countries for global investment. To unlock its economic potential, the Sultanate has created a Special Economic Zone (SEZAD) in the Duqm region, which should make Oman the "main sea gateway" of the Middle East. On an area of 2,000 square kilometers, including 90 kilometers of coastline, several ports, a new airport, industrial enterprises, as well as tourist, business and shopping centers will be located. Due to the great importance of this project for Oman, a personal presentation was held for representatives of the Special Economic Zone Duqm (SEZAD).
During the visit, all meetings were very productive. The representatives of the Sultanate of Oman agreed that the digital platform NOVA Realty can be of great benefit in the development of the real estate market of all Oman and will significantly accelerate and simplify the attraction of large international investments. Therefore, we agreed to arrange a follow-up visit from our company in the near future to continue talks on cooperation and integration of our platform with the Sultanate's digital infrastructure.
Also during the month of January we held new rounds of talks with our colleagues and partners:
- TERMINUS GROUP, the general partner of Expo 2020 Dubai;
- Mubadala, the sovereign investment fund of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi;
- The management of the world exhibition EXPO 2020 in Dubai;
- Dubai Chamber Of Commerce & Industry.
