PropTech market trends in Russia and the world

june 30, 2019

NOVA, together with the newspaper Delovoi Peterburg, held a business breakfast on the subject “PropTech market trends in Russia and the world. Are new services and products actually investments in the future of the industry?”

Denis Radzimovskii, CEO of NOVA, was one of the speakers at the event. Denis devoted the first part of his speech to the fact that today, PropTech is not just a fashion trend but an objective necessity, since two global problems have long formed on the global real estate market. The first is the lack of a single reliable information field. The second is the lack of opportunities for safe and effective interaction of market participants. These problems can be solved by global innovation services. Denis also gave a presentation of the NOVA Realty platform being developed by the company and its opportunities for the market and its participants.

Others speakers at the event were Andrei Kosarev, CEO of Colliers International St. Petersburg, and Olga Koroleva, Senior Manager of the team that provides real estate consulting services at PwC Russia.

Olga Koroleva shared analytics on the PropTech market in Russia and the world. According to the research conducted by the company, by the end of 2018, the volume of investments on the global PropTech market has almost doubled compared to 2017. At the same time, the Russian PropTech market is also growing rapidly and there are actual deals and new companies behind it, offering an innovative approach to design, construction, management and operation of premises.

Andrei Kosyrev noted in his speech that today, the PropTech segment is what makes the real estate market transparent, leading, of course, to serious changes on the market itself, including the optimization of business processes in both consulting and development companies.

The event was moderated by Alexey Butsailo, creative editor of the newspaper Delovoi Peterburg, and Valery Trushin, head of research and consulting at IPG Estate.
A detailed report on the event will be published in one of the upcoming issues of the newspaper Delovoi Peterburg.
